Fees and Registration

Due to the unexpectedly high number of registrations, online registration is currently not available. Please contact the conference team by email if you would still like to register for the 2026 Dreiländertagung!

Registration for the Joint Conference is open until 15 May 2026 online via the meineDVPW portal. An additional processing fee will be charged from 1 April 2026. 

In view of the expected programme decision by the EPSS, the programme committee has extended the registration deadline for active participants (chairs, discussants, speakers) until 8 February 2026. All active participants must register for the conference by this date in order to be listed in the programme.

Registration for the Joint Conference is binding and no refunds will be given for cancellation or changes to registration.

Lake Constance is a holiday destination, so accommodation is in short supply. We have reserved a number of hotel rooms, but these are only available for a limited period. Here you will find a list of hotels with all the information you need to make a reservation. We strongly recommend that you make your hotel reservation as soon as possible, as many of the rooms are only available until 28 February 2026. After that, they will be released for general sale.

Doctoral students and postdocs can apply for a travel allowance of up to €500.00 from the DVPW's Fund for the Promotion of Early Career Researchs ("Q-Fonds") via the meineDVPW portal until 31 January 2026. The application form is linked on the event page of the Dreiländertagung.

As an early career researcher ("Q-Wissenschaftler*in"), you are eligible to apply if you

• are a DVPW member or trial member,
• give at least one presentation on a panel at the Joint Conference, and
• cannot claim your participation in the Joint Conference as a business trip. To this end, an informal confirmation from your employer or supervisor must be submitted.

The DVPW's Committee for the Promotion of Early Career Researchs ("Q-Ausschuss") will decide on the applications by 28 February 2026. In order for the subsidy for accommodation and travel expenses to be paid out, the relevant receipts must be submitted to the DVPW after the Dreiländertagung.
