Discussing practical, conceptional and political challenges for early-career researchers

The aim of "It's a match!" at the DVPW Convention 2024 is to provide a space for informal exchange between early-career researchers and more experienced colleagues on practical research, conceptual and (academia/discipline-related) policy topics. The organization team invites colleagues to propose current topics and challenges of their own (content-related, methodological, career-related, political). Based on these submissions, 'matches' will then be formed among early-careers and more experienced colleagues. For these small groups, parallel tables will be organized on 24 September before the start of the actual convention program (12:30-2:00 pm) to exchange ideas on common concerns. It is not necessary to prepare a presentation or a written submission. Other participants of the convention are invited to join the discussion spontaneously.
The submission of topic proposals for "It's a match" is possible until 17 May 2024 via the portal meineDVPW. An overview of the tables will be published before the convention.
