23-24 September 2021
We are pleased to announce that this year’s workshop of the German Association of Peace and Conflict Studies’ (AFK) working group “Empirical Peace and Conflict Research” will be organized jointly by the Goethe University Frankfurt and the University of Potsdam. The workshop will take place on 23-24 September 2021 in a virtual format.
As in previous years, we invite papers that are based on theory guided, empirical research in the field of peace and conflict studies. The workshop’s aim is to promote exchange and networking among researchers in the field. We explicitly invite contributions that apply diverse methods ranging from qualitative to quantitative methodologies and are looking forward to a fruitful exchange.
Participants can look forward to engaging discussions and high-quality feedback. Presentations can be held in English or German.
Submission deadline for abstracts: 15 May 2021.
Please submit your paper title and abstract (max. 250 words) via: https://forms.gle/C72XyzpXUPMj21HXA
Format: As in 2020, the workshop will be held in a virtual format, in order to allow everyone to participate, regardless of local conditions and health or travel concerns. We are very much looking forward to your proposals!
