In the context of an authors’ workshop “Contestations of the Liberal Script in Regional Organizations in the Global South and the Global North” taking place in Berlin, Germany on November 27-28th 2025, we invite applications for 2-month fellowships at the International Research College (IRC) of SCRIPTS. The IRC fellows are required to participate in the workshop and contribute a chapter to the edited volume.
The IRC fellowships are endowed with 2,500€ per month to cover your travel and accommodation expenses during your 2-month stay in Berlin during either October and November 2025 or during November and December 2025.
To qualify for an IRC fellowship, you need to also apply for the authors’ conference (see below) and be ready to contribute a chapter to the edited volume within the schedule discussed with the editors (details on the conference are below). In addition, we would need your academic CV as well as a letter of motivation in which you detail how you use the two-month-stay in Berlin to further polish your contribution to the edited volume. We especially encourage the application of early career scholars. Please send your IRC application material to conference@scripts-berlin.eu no later than May 15th 2025.
