Job Description
Conducting research in the context of the ERC-funded project CIVILSPACE (https://www.cps lmu.org/civilspace.html), especially the preparation and implementation of several large-scale group surveys including survey experiment in several European countries as well as contribu tion to the consecutive data analysis. Participating in dissemination and publication of project results. Contributing to administrative tasks in the context of the CIVILSPACE project.
Job Requirements
An excellent dissertation in a social science discipline on a theme broadly relevant to CIVIL SPACE (https://www.cps-lmu.org/civilspace.html) (completed or close to completion). Advanced skills in quantitative data analysis relevant to the analysis of survey and experi mental data. Experience in the design and implementation of survey experiments. An interest in or readiness to actively engage with civil society, non-profit, organization or interest group research. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and in teams. Experience of working in cross-national, comparative projects is desirable. Fluency in English. Fluency in one additional European language (that is not German) is desir able.
Our Offer
Pay is based on TV-L, ,Entgeltgruppe' E 13. The work load is 40,1 hours a week. Posts ought to be filled no later than April 1 2025 and are initially restricted to a duration of two years (probation 6 months) with the possibility of extending by one more year. Your workplace will be in the center of Munich and is well connected through public transport. Disabled candidates are in case of equal qualification preferred.
