Your Responsibilities:
• Participation in projects of the research group in the area of quantitative analysis of political attitudes and political behavior in contexts of extremism, violence, and/or authoritarian rule
• Implementation of your own research projects within the thematic priorities of the research group
• Teaching (two courses per semester) in the Bachelor's and Master's programs of the Institute
• Supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses
Requirements:
• Completed academic degree and a completed doctorate in political science and/or social sciences with very good grades
• Research and/or publication activities in the department's subject area, proven by peer-reviewed publications with relevant journals or publishers (double-blind peer review)
• Teaching experience in the field of Comparative Politics and/or International Relations (including Peace and Conflict Studies)
• Very good quantitative methodological knowledge (with a focus on causal identification) and relevant software skills
Ideally, you should:
• be interested in collaborating with one of the ongoing research projects of the research group
• have teaching experience in quantitative and/or qualitative methods
• have experience in acquiring third-party funding (e.g., travel funds)
