A PhD in Political Science is required by the date of appointment. Applicants should combine a dynamic research agenda with a commitment to teaching in a Liberal Arts institution. The appointment includes teaching introductory and advanced courses in comparative politics and political economy. The successful candidate will also develop courses that align with her/his/their scholarly interests and have the opportunity to collaborate with AUP’s interdepartmental research centers.

Applicants should include samples of recent scholarship (journal articles, chapters, published or in manuscript form) with their applications.

- The teaching load is six courses per academic year

- Teaching responsibilities will primarily be focused in the department’s International and Comparative Politics curriculum
