Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
The project focuses on the long-term political effects of experiences of violence, especially sexualized violence, on political attitudes and behavior. To explore these effects, the project team will design and implement a multi-generational survey and conduct qualitative interviews. Research will be conducted in eastern Germany and one international comparison case (either Poland, Russia, or Bosnia). The research fellow will be involved in all aspects of the project, including the design of the questionnaires, data analysis, and drafting. For his/her thesis, the research fellow will specialize on one aspect of the project that will allow her/him to make an independent contribution
