Programme Officer Latin America (div/f/m)

The part-time position will be based in Berlin, Germany, starting as soon as possible.
 

Main tasks:

  • Support to organizing and coordinating activities of the Programme
  • Background research on thematic and regional topics such as dealing with violence, dialogue efforts and methods (e.g. strategy development and reflection/evaluation processes)
  • Support proposal writing and publications
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the team and partners
  • Support of budget planning & tracking
     

Qualifications:

  • M.A. degree in a relevant field, such as peace and conflict studies, political science or international relations
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience (internships count)
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills in Spanish, English and German
  • Experience in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Regional experience in Latin America, preferred in the Andean and Central American region; work experience is a strong asset
  • Initial experience with project development and management as well as experience with budget writing and tracking is desired
  • Methodological experience in planning and reflection processes is an asset

The part-time position (20hrs./week) will be based in Berlin, Germany for a period of 12 months (extension depending on the availability of project funds).
